Pets are welcome at our vacation accommodations on the Silver Coast of in Portugal. After all, pets are usually our greatest friends, at least with us. Therefore, we understand your desire to take them on vacation to Portugal.

Your dog, your cat, your bird, all kinds of pets are welcome at our various vacation locations in central Portugal near the coast. In the first line beach apartment SolMar near Nazaré, in our vacation park Quinta das Cantigas near Alcobaça and in our beach view villa Pines of Salgado, also near Nazaré.

Pets also enjoy vacations in Portugal

Your pet will have all the space in nature on and around the vacation park at our Quinta. Endless walks with your dog on the trails around the villa Pines of Salgado or playing together in the huge garden. Or enjoy together the beach or the view to the sea from the huge roof terrace of our apartment SolMar. Can you already see your kitty snoring by the setting sun and the murmur of the sea?

In fact, at our Quinta we have pets of our own, “our Mellie,” a small and already old dog, a real everyman’s friend.

Our cat “Cleo” also seeks the coziness of the guests. Our pets enjoy freedom at the vacation park in Portugal.

Should there be other animals, or guests who are less fond of animals, we take that into consideration.

Rules for your Portuguese vacation with your dog, cat or….

We have the following conditions/rules for “visiting pets”.

Pets are welcome, only after consultation and approval. We reserve the right to refuse pets if we receive too many requests for the same period. After all, we want to keep the number limited.
You can contact us before your reservation or indicate it when you make your reservation and we will contact you.
A dog or other animals of a breed considered potentially dangerous will not be accepted despite the possible wearing of, for example, a functional muzzle.
A maximum of 2 animals is accepted per accommodation.
There is an additional charge per day of 7.50€ per pet. We use this for extra good final cleaning.
Pets must have their mandatory vaccinations.
Pets can stay in your accommodation and its private terrace. On this terrace on a leash or inside the possible fence. Outside of that, always on a leash!
Pets may not be brought onto the pool area or into the activity pavilion.
In the accommodations, the pets are not allowed to lie or sit on the beds or chairs unless they are covered with its own bedding/cloth. Place water and food containers on the designated mat or outside.
Allow pets to do their needs outside the grounds of the Quinta, of the apartment complex (SolMar) and the Pines of Salgado. Should it accidentally happen within our grounds …in either case please clean up immediately.
It is mandatory to put down your own pee pads in case the pet relieves itself inside the accommodation. The cat sandbox should be placed in the bathroom with newspaper underneath for easy cleaning.
Avoid leaving the animal alone in the accommodation. If you do have to leave the animal then by great preference in his bench.
Clean your pet’s paws if they are dirty before entering the accommodation. If your pet causes damage to the accommodation, please let us know immediately, you will have to pay for any damage.
If the pet causes a nuisance, the animal must leave the accommodation.
